Our family and home

Just a few pictures of the family, grandchildren, the pets and our house.

Water park and picnicing with friends

We had a picnic get-together with old friends at the small water park and again it was a beautiful day. We visited with Cashell's, Brown's, Mueller's, Ardis, Pastor and Dilly, Fechter's, Robinson's, Schnieder's and Warren Hebert. It was GREAT visiting time, but we got so caught up in the visiting, we forgot to take pictures. The kids had a GREAT time in the sprinklers, but Papa and I just visited A LOT!! Great food, great weather, but most of all GREAT FRIENDS! This is what we miss the most about Montana!!

Dylan's birthday

We were lucky enough to be in Montana for Dylan's birthday. As you can see, the theme was FROGS (for the 3rd year in a row). If it ever rains here, Dylan will be the best dressed "frog" in town with frog boots and matching umbrella. Tammi made the cutest frog cake (I don't know how she continues to come up with new and inventive cake ideas- especially when Dylan keeps choosing frogs). Dustin's family came for cake and ice cream and we had a good visit. Dylan says it feels better to be 5 than it did to be 4, so he is happy to be older!

Highlight Lake

It was alittle chilly when we first got up to Highlight, but soon warmed up and we all got lots of sun and water fun. The guys only got one fish on this day, but went back the next day and got enough for dinner.

Yellowstone Park

As you can see by the pictures, it was another sunny, beautiful weather day when we went to Yellowstone Park. We saw buffalo, elk and lots of geysers and hot springs. The boys loved the geysers best, but Ethan didn't really appreciate the outhouses! We ate ice cream cones at Old Faithful and finished the day with dinner in West Yellowstone. Another GREAT day in Montana (well part of the day was in Montana and the other part was in Wyoming).

Visiting the Gee ranch

We had a GREAT visit with Darrell and Arlene! It is so much fun to spend time with old (gold) friends. Darrell and Arlene looked wonderful and they haven't changed a bit. The boys loved visiting with the horses, playing in the huge sandbox in the back yard, riding bikes, playing on the cattle grate and riding the special horse swing. (I made Mike take lots of pictures of the horse swing because I thought he might be able to make some when we get back to NY.) Before we left, Jeff showed up and we got pictures with us and the two "babies" in our families. The ranch is sure in a beautiful part of the country. We had a great day and none of us wanted to leave.

4th of July in MT

This was a great day spent at Tammi & Dustin's house. The weather was beautiful and the fireworks were bright! Earlier in the day, we set up the boy's new swim pool and ,as you can see, Ethan was dressed and ready to swim! Later all the boys had a good time with sparklers and watching the fireworks on the street outside the house.
